Me and my buddy just finished rebuilding my KA24DE and have got it running smooth as a top. Auto trans is not working like it should....it's not shifting out of 1st at all...when I rev it to 3500+ RPMs and let off the gas...then I hit the gas again, it just revs like it's in N. So I'm gonna do the 5 speed swap. I wanted to do it even if the auto transmission was good. I just talked to the guys at orlandopowerline.com and can get a great deal on the whole conversion for the 5-speed swap. I'll keep you guys informed. Hope to have my girl on the road fully done in a few months or less.

Can't wait to have another 5 spd vert on the roads. Sorry for your bad luck with the auto transmission... but, I'm sure you'll be happy you went 5 spd in the end.
