Well, after having all of the parts for about a year, I finally turbocharged my S13. My brother and I were able to use the shop where he works, because everyone was in Moab for a few days(It's a 4 wheel drive shop). We decided to finish the car while we had the shop to ourselves. I made custom brackets for the intercooler that bolt to aluminum nuts that were welded to the intercooler. The intercooler piping was made from mandrel bends and straight pipe that I cut while my brother welded. We TIG welded the JGS manifold, and MIG welded all the piping. The turbo is a T3 from a Z31 that I bottom mounted because of the design of the turbo outlet. I'm running a blow through MAF, and my intercooler piping is a little different, because I did not relocate my battery. Well I guess that's the basics. Running stock boost, the wastegate opens at 5-6psi. I'm running it very rich right not until I can get on a dyno and tune it.

Pics of the turbo install can be found here.

Congrats on a killer looking setup! I think that piping idea was pretty ingenious of you (personally haven't seen one exactly like that) I didn't move the battery either, i ran under the rad support up front like a few others here and then up to the TB like you did, but it cuts down on ground clearance up front...not an issue with the way you ran it...let us know the numbers when you get some. Way to keep it all nissan with that Z31 turbo too! I used the same turbo and manifold you did, just top mounted it, changed the turbine housing to a standard 5 bolt wastegate housing. Anyway, get out there toast a few hondas to warm her up! :ylsuper

It's high-temp engine paint from Advance Auto Parts. Took 2 cans to paint the intercooler piping and various brackets. The color is something like "Cast Iron". Something like that. I was going to do silver or black, but when I saw the paint I thought it would be pretty sweet.

Thanks, I think I might route it back into the intake piping before the turbo. The blow off noise is cool, but I think I'll get sick of it after a while. Also, it might help keep the turbo spooled a little better when shifting.
