Just finished building motor except piston, where is the best price 8.5:1 piston

just got the motor machined. we are gonna put it back together to save me some money though. where can i get some good 8.5:1 comp pistons with rings for under $400? also if i want a cometic head gasket should i just get intouch with them directly? if not then who sells cometic head gaskets?

i dont think you will find pistons any cheaper than $500 unless you find a private seller. also i would jsut go with a stock HG

The stock HG is pretty good. Unless you're running over 20 psi, stick with the stocker. Always better to have the gasket blow before something else breaks.

i can use the stok gasket even if we are boring it out? or should i just keep it stock bore since it hasn't blown?
