Just finished 97 KA into s13...just a small problem

Car runs and starts great, I just can't get the damn S13 driveshaft into the S14 transmission all the way.

It looks like the collar on the transmission is in the way.

What did you guys do to solve this problem?

I installed a 95 motor into my 90 240sx....and the driveshaft is like 2 inches short...but i have not had any drivability problems....i do leak oil though....i was planning on adding a few washers in the near future....i do have a spare driveshaft that i plan on custom making myself as a one piece...i would just have to get it ballanced....

did u use the 97 ecu and harness??? im glad im not the only one that had the driveshaft not fit, i thought i did something wrong.
