Like the title says, i just did my first PDA event at pocono south last saturday (the 23rd). It certainly was a blast and i learned a lot about my car and myself as a driver. I would highly recommend this course for any beginner racer. My instructor was helpful and i really feel like i came away with a better understanding of how to drive at high speeds safely. I also met one of our fellow members there (Cody i believe his name was, don't remember what his screen name on here was but he drives a black s14 with gt2871r sr20det). I was pretty impressed with my stock sr (mild bolt ons running at 11 psi). I was keeping up with an s2000 for a while until i blew an intercooler pipe on my last run. Thank god the local auto parts store didn't close until 6! Here is a link to some pics. There are only two of me (4th to last and last shot). Enjoy! http://picasaweb.google.com/ap...83682

Car looks good! Bet it was a blast. Good job on keeping up with the S2000! Was that open wheeled/stock car pretty fast? It looks like it could haul a**.

Thanks man. And yeah, that car was a monster! Passed me every chance he got on the long banked turn.

Nice, any idea what kind of times you were running?

Not really, the runs weren't really timed as it was structured more as a racing school but i gather that i was doing them in under a minute. I don't know if your familiar with pocono south. It's a pretty fast course aside from the one hair pin.

Lol yea I was out on the south course a few weeks ago with my Sti, and I was just back at the North course a few days ago. My Time trial time was a 55.208 for the south course, and I ran a 104.01 on the North Course. Stage 2 Sti, with falken Azenis. Only if the 240 was track ready... Had a lot of fun, definatly some fun courses.

You were at the south course on the 23rd? Were you the one with the blue new gen sti? Cause that was a sweet car if it was yours. Yeah, those courses are nice. I wish i got on the north course, that one sounds pretty intense! When you get the 240 track ready, drop me a line and maybe we can go to a track day together.
