either tap em in to your parking lights (i.e. sidemarkers) or wire them up to a custom switch like you would with foglights.slagithor wrote:OK... so i have a question does anyone know how or where i should hook up that second small light in the housing.
If your referring to the little blue light its suppose to be a "city light". does nothing but light up blue....bersh240 wrote:whats that little light for anyway?

Yes safety is important. So be sure to get these lights just like he did. This way you can blind all the other drivers on the road. Then they can become distracted and smash into you or other people. Hooray!!!slagithor wrote:sorry dude i care more about my safety than mine. don't like bright lights?? feel free to wear sunglasses at night i like the light EVERYWHERE. so i apologizing for causing discomfort but i like the heck out of them.
i put regular bulbs to test them and see how long the housings last im gonna get better ones soon. and even with the s*** bulbs they are a vast improvement on my sealed beams. plus i mean its a total of 8 screws each light its not like i cant change them back if they become a problem. as for oncoming traffic they are no where near as blinding as HIDs IMOTJcars2 wrote:No HID = No cutoff. Why did you put regular bulbs in projector housings? They're meant for HIDs. Unless you're planning on getting HID's soon I would have kept the sealed beams.
Nice shag btw. 70's rule haha.
What bulb did you use for the right one?Warped161 wrote:i picked up some ebay housings a while back.the right one is ebay, much brighter light but not the projector type. didn't see a need for it and they were dirt cheap.
Lots of cars have halogens in projectors housing....TJcars2 wrote:No HID = No cutoff. Why did you put regular bulbs in projector housings? They're meant for HIDs. Unless you're planning on getting HID's soon I would have kept the sealed beams.
