for front brakes it shouldn't matter but if you had the e brake on during the swap then maybe a shorted out lever switch?Mine wouldn't go off and it was the little switch on the lever that wouldn't "let go" and i ended up juts taking out the bulb.

sounds like its something to do with the fluid sensor in the master cylinder. maybe its bad. dont thing it has to do with the ebrake.

Check the cable/sensor under the center console thingy. It gets touchy alot... been that way in all my 240's. Theres a screw there that might need some tightening.

The float is probably just stuck on something. Try manually moving it in the MC and see if that solves the issue

couldn't you just keep your stock brake master cylinder. The reason why i say that is because i have heard a lot of people saying that if you are just doing the fronts then you dont need the z32 master cylinder but if you are doing all four the you would need the z32 master cylinder. (correct me if i am wrong)

Sounds about right. Yeah, OP, you could have kept s13 BMC.

the e brake light has nothing to do with the BMC

that's more likely the problem. the e brake light isn't connected to anything on the car except the toggle switch on the lever itself. Unless anyone can show me otherwise on the schematics itself.

As for needing the z32 BMC its debatable, they are bigger rotors, but the caliper has more leverage so less effort is needed to grip. then again there was some pretty useful info on all that here zer...48666I got learn'd lol, good info
