I hope you mean dual tip catback, and not dual exhaust.

my favorite is when you see double dual exhaust on a 4cyl. Its like one hole for each cylinder, and they're all coming out of one little pipe.

what the freak??????? slw240sx, just because I was wondering if anyone has ever done it to a 240 doesn't mean I want to do it to my car, I think it's just as stupid as you guys do so back off already. Did I catch you at the wrong time of the month or something? Don't be so quick to judge, you don't know me, don't act like you do.

why are you being like this? what are you 12 ? One thread was about me getting a new muffler, one was asking if Dual exhaust rear outlet was possible, and one was about pics of Dual exhuast. Even if they were all identicle (which they are NOT) who are you? a moderator? don't you have something better to do than whine about people not posting the way you do? I guess not. I think somebody needs to take a little break from these forums, 1607 posts is a lot, get out of the house and get some fresh air for a change.

Dude, people are criticising you cuz you are polluting the boards. If you have three questions about exhaust, dual exhaust, pics of dual exhaust, all you gotta do is ask it in one thread. There are rules of etiquette to be followed. It also just so happens your three questions are of questionable taste and people on this board are very protective of what they want to see done to any 240.

Maybe the reason you haven't found any pics of 240's with dual exhaust is cuz no one has done that to their car. you gotta ask yourself why would someone put dual exhaust on a car with a 4 cyl motor?

You guys just don't get it. You read what you want and then critisize about it. I never said it was a good idea to dual exhaust on a 240, I never said I wanted to do it, I was just friggin asking if there were pics of anyone that has!!!!!! I don't know how such an innocent little question can be blown out of proportion.

Okay so I should have just combined all the posts, because 3 threads is just out of control!!! I bet I really slowed down the server. OH man, I'm so sorry, it will never happen again. give me a break, just move on guys, this thread died a long time ago.

It hasn't even been 24 hrs yet. You aren't getting off on the right foot. Maybe you wanna start over.

So when you guys pull next to a sick s2k that would smoke your car do you tell the driver "well your car sucks because you have dual exit exhaust and its only a 4 cylinder"? What about the rx-7 turbo-II? Are they silly too because a little 1.3 Litre rotary doesnt need dual exaust either? I think some of you people need to open your minds and realize you can mod your cars the way you like, who cares what they do in japan.

Dustin_T:

The problem is that you asked three nearly identical questions in three distinct posts over the course of three days. It would have been much simpler to just continue the thought process in the same thread and start up a great number of threads. This keeps people from reading the same thing over and over as they try to help. One thread is enough to find out all you need for dual exhaust.

More specifically, you earlier (2 days ago) expressed interest in acquiring dual flowmaster-type exhaust and people answered, then you felt the need to start a new thread to ask for pictures. A simple addendum to the last post would have sufficed, and it appears that nobody has any pictures for you. Then again, this is a pretty new thread so you never know.

My advice for you is that you don't introduce yourself with your guns blazing, as people will take offense to it. Understand that what you did goes against common forum etiquette, and just try not to repeat it. Good luck with your exhaust, I suggest to Apexi N1 duals, they are quite popular.:icesangel

Well sixx, The rotary pushes as much air as a 2.6 liter, it needs dual (But you know that, I know). But as the S2000 goes, Honda is stupid. That should have been a 3.0 twin turbo instead of the little old 2.0. But 240 hp aint bad. Anybody got any vids of an s15 and an S2000 racing?????

As the Dual pipes goes. I dont have a problem with it in the least. Matter of fact, I think it would probally look sweet. Just not those flow master's. Now, you can flame me on anything I have said here. Because you guys know I just dont give a rat's A$$.

i agree, dual exhaust does give a car a more agressive look to it, and I think a 240 with dual exhaust would look sweet. If it was cheap to do, I'd probably considering doing it it to my 240, but of course its not, and for that much money, I'd be better off doing other things to get more HP.

You could have a muffler shop make you a nice custom job that wouldn't be anywhere near as expensive as some of these name brand systems. A nice 3 inch from the header back to a "Y" and figure 2.5 or 2.25 back from there. No cat if you can get by without it. And some decent mufflers.

I actually like dual pipes. I love the aggresive look of the 2nd gen Rex's dual system. I just dont trust rotarys or I would be fixing up the old base model I bought.
