how difficult would it be to make a VG30et into a VG30ett?? obviously money can do anything, but is it just as simple as throwin a turbo on the other side of the motor and combining the intake pipes? (turbos confuse me... so I'm tryin to learn)...

or (yet again just curious) would be a better route to swap the motor with a VG30DETT?? (if it'll fit)

yep. it's very simple.

- custom make a passenger side manifold.- custom make a driver side manifold.- run oil and water lines.- custom make intake piping.- custom make a new exhaust.- custom heatshields for the battery and other stuff on the passenger side.

don't forget to have matching turbos or you're going to destroy the balance of the engine.

So, figure around $3k to $4k worth of custom stuff.

well, the stock VG30ET only gets 200 horses (unless it's the 88... then 205) and well... my friend's 91 na supra has 220 horses... and, I wanna kick his *** (my alti keeps up till 3rd gear... then gets taken cuz it's the family car)... and well.. I would like bragin rights that my z31 has 300-400 horses... no matter what I gotta do to it... so... yeah...

BTW, thanks to all who reponded... I was actually expecting the "search it dumbass" kinda reaction... but you guys proved not as big as ***holes to the newbies as I thought... 'preciate it

ytou can reach well over 400 whp with a very mild single turbo, and keep in mind some of the biggest baddest skylines and supra's have converted to single turbo's!
