Wow...I must be EXTREMELY bored to do this but....

I made a quick observation of some of the users on this forum and was wondering how many hours per day are spent viewing and posting.

Here is a short list of some of the heavy users I noticed (and no I am not referring to your weight):

Your thoughts on this....

BTW...who has the most posts and who has been a member the longest?

CRAP....The spacing and formatting was lost in my message! Sorry about the cramped spacing of the numbers.

I hope it makes sense....

Each time I got laid off I spent more and more time on NICO. So far, I haven't replaced NICO with a full time job -- that was spring 2004.

I usually spend about an hour or two a day on NICO.

80% of it is reading old threads.

I always have a separate NICO ONLY computer next to my main 2 primary work [home network] 24 hour computers. Saves all that task switching. The Jekle and Hyde approach.

If the question were who contibutes the most accurate documented information per post, then Q45tech has everyone else lapping at his ankles at best. Most aren't up to his toenails.

You may note the people with the highest numbers are owners and/or moderators. I'm actually glad I'm not on that list anywhere, since most queries could be easily answered by a search ( if only it weren't a worthless POS) ...not that anyone listens anyway.... if they rarely submit resolutions to their crises... my $.02 since you asked....

Anlasak is way up there in my book as far as helpfulness... ...right after Wes...

I do most of my posting here in General Chat. Most of my automotive discussion lately is at Miata.net and the Cadillac forum.

I spend most of the night during the week, and a few hours a day on weekends on NICO.

I try to be helpful.

But most of the time I just fail miserably at being funny.

Actually, most of my time on NICO is spent reading and learning.

My thoughts exactly.

I probably average a couple hours a day.

I'm on here enough to own the place, but I don't post as much as I used to. I'm usually reading old threads too. But you should see how much time I spend actually posting on Pacersdigest.com OMG!

I basically stay on while I'm at work, there's always a NICO tab open in Safari - the whole task switching that Q45tech refers to, not an issue with Macs. No need for multiple computers when ONE can do everything at the same time, flawlessly and fast.

I guess that means my hours are misleading, it's not like I sit here an look at NICO all day, but it's on all day. I'd say I check it about 10 times a day though for new posts.
