Go ahead and give me some money. I probably won't afford a GTR priced car in my 130s.kmckis1029 wrote:I really hope a GTR will be my "over 30 years old" car, i've had two Gs in my 20s. used GTRs are in the high $50k right now... maybey low 50k in a couple years when I'm 30, fingers crossed!!! (now what ill drive after 40 years old, IDK)

But look at the bright side, your insurance would be cheap.
Yeah, I can't afford a new G37 either. I do everything my self on my old cars and am still paying off my 10 year old G35 for another year and a half.kmckis1029 wrote:lol if i was talking a new GTR then yeah i'm balling, but a used GTR (2009-2010) in the 50k range is only 10k more than a optioned out G37, same price as a S5, M3, 335 with all options, corvette, gt500, ect. then add a good down payment and the price is lower. so a used GTR is more in reach than you think.
what it comes down to is doing the maintence your self, taxes(ga is getting rid of the "birthday tax" so ill only have to pay taxes once), and insurance cost.
I told my State Farm agent that I should have gotten some kind of rebate on my Camaro. Had it insured with them for 17 years and never filed a claim. They didn't see it my way.biggie wrote: I'm wondering if insurance is ever cheap. I pay too much for never using. Insurance has paid for 2-3 windshield replacements in my life.
