I often spin my tires, however I think its more due to the fact that they're smoother than Tino's well oiled ***.

I used napas cleaner. it was very easy hardest part was getting the damn gasket off took the most time too. it was really easy, very few bolts but lots of hoses to detach. If you want help or a step by step email me [email protected]

I dont know where you live but If I was you I would have removed the coolant lines going into the tb and bypassed the tb with a new line, while it was off :)

I did this yesterday and it was a pain in the *** as all the clamps seemed to be facing away from me. I didnt feel like taking the TB off either... :( hehe But, now my tb wont be getting unneccisarilly hot due to 200° coolant running through it.... Then Again I live in florida and dont have to worry about ICE, the main reason that was designed for :)

I usaully do as well, but you can make sure its damn clean if you take it off :)

Plus you wont push the deposits into the intake mani, with the tb / carb cleaner, like you would with it on.

you did replace the gasket didn't you?? you shouldn't use old one. mucho bad. anyways, i did the very same thing a couple of weekends ago, it restores a lot of power, you're right. the other dude is right though too, about the hoses, you should replace all of them. You're gonna be pissed when you have to replace one of those bypass hoses below the manifold or something.

Well that too hehe. I was actually talking about taking the coolant line that runs into the TB out, and bypassing around it :)

Note: Its very bad if your areas temps get cold enough that snow or ice forms as it may ice up the TB. Or worse it could ice up on the road !!

I did the throttle body bypass mod too....its one of those mods that in theory could give you .5 hp :D

Yeah but just think if it did give you .5hp and all the other things us fools do to get .5hp, when added up may make a noticeable amount :)

It was so simple that not trying it was worse.

Plus when you drive a 240 with a power hungry auto transmission even theoretical hp gain helps.
