To whom did you speak there? They've all been more than courteous to me, always.PerelliSole wrote:On the 93 Q - Need to know how to clear the msg from the displsy on the dash - the Scottsdale Infiniti people are rather rude and impersonal - so I'm asking the 'family' - thxxx
Thats what I did with my 93.elwesso wrote:you can still bypass the snesors and rehook them up if you decide to get new ones... I say short the sensors...
What brake pads did you use? Was there a sensor or not? If there's no sensor with the pads used, you only have 3 optoins - 1) live with the message, 2) short the wires to make the message go away or 3) go to Autozone and by the super cheap Albany brand brakes and use the sensor that comes with them, and throw the pads away.PerelliSole wrote:On the 93 Q - Need to know how to clear the msg from the displsy on the dash - the Scottsdale Infiniti people are rather rude and impersonal - so I'm asking the 'family' - thxxx
I've never had a problem with mine! They work perfectly... no message until the pads are worn down to about 3000 miles worth left. I typically short the old sensor - order new pads - and install them within a week or two. Never had metal to metal contact except after I defeated the sensor and then waited too long before replacing.Jesda wrote:Pad wear sensors. Completely worthless and ineffective feature.
