The Dealer says it came from the factory like that but the car was build in December 14, 2007 the disc says 2006 on the label . My home street address doesn’t show up on my navigation but on 7.3 it’s there shouldn’t the dealer update the disc to 7.3 for free?? Also what kind of car cover should I get for it??

Wow huge difference with 7.3 I'd push for the upgrade. You don't have as much pull after buying the car though.

Mine came with 7.3. Of course, the car was built about 6 weeks ago. I am surprised that your dealer had a car on his lot in May that was built in December!

BTW mcheddadi, did you use the torrent as well for your upgrade? I am downloading it right now, and it will probably finish downloading tomorrow, and then I'll burn it on a dual layer DVD and pop it in my navigation.

BTW, if you did use it, did you get any problems? did you use a DVD+R or DVD-R? Or does it matter? What is the keygen file for in the torrent?

Thanks for the help

the keygen file is for poweriso that's included in the torrent. Its a burning software.

I'm downloading it too right now. it's supposed to go in the 6cd changer?or somewhere else that I don't know about?

I'll burn it on a dual layer dvd later too, but I don't think dvd+R or dvd-R makes a difference.

here's the readme file from the torrent:

Quote »Nissan Altima 7.3 (2007-2008) Zenrin DVD Nav

Instructions:Burn the Image using any burning software like Nero. PowerISO is provided for those without burning software. You will need a dual layer burner and dual layer DVD's. I got it working with Sony's DVD+R DL although many people say Verbatims are the best. It's recommended to burn at lower speed setting like 2x to ensure highest data integrity.Seed this for other members.

Refer to this thread for issues:http://tinyurl.com/5kr7dsThanks to the following on the Nissan Club forum:

Loqheed for buying the DVD and spending countless hours mass producing copies of other members

Bell1 for uploading this giant ISO

and all the other members who chipped in to Loqheed.

Are you talking about the update disc? That goes behind the nav unit, hold down the tilt button until the whole screen flips down. then press eject and switch out the DVD!

You could put iti n the CD changer, don't think it would work, hold down the TILT button on the nav and the screen will flip down then you can acess the DVD-ROM drive...

Huge thanks for finding this! I tried a few months back and it wasn't out there yet..I originally offered to make "back-up" copies...but never followed through

yeah I already burned it once, but it failed. I'd Did a md5sum check to see if my file was corrupted but no, it's the exact same one as the one on the FTP and in the torrent. I think it's my burning software (alcohol 120%). I am re-burning it again this time with ImgBurn. If it still doesn't work then I guess it's because of my cheapo Memorex DVD+R DL. If it still doesn't work, I'll go buy some verbatim DVD+R DL.

btw, here's my MD5sum 4b9f6d2cf8b87dd3592d765231b1bfec

it failed again, but I'm guessing that it's not the media, because on the nissanclub forum someone was able to do it with memorex. I'll try burning it on another pc

Hopefully once someone gets a copy of this that works, they will be willing to sell "back-up" copies to members for an extremely discounted price....

that's what they are doing on nissanclub, and this torrent in question is the backup of the cd, so normally It should work perfect when you download and burn it. the thing is, my burners suck, So i didn't manage to make a single one of my copies work (5times) I'll try it once more before calling it quits. if someone manages to do it tell me how you did (because the iso works, its just my burners that suck)

LOL! I DID IT! HA! after 6 dvds I did it! yay!

my problem was my writer. I upgraded the firmware to a newer one and it worked like a charm.

here's the steps:

"Get" the iso use ImgBurn to burn itchose "write image file to disk"check Verify imageput your DVD+R DL (DUAL LAYER) inwait for the BURN IT!

takes 40 minutes to burn at 2.5X and 40 minutes to verify.enjoy!

P.S.: The torrent took 12h 0m to complete at an average of 187.7kb/sec
