Last week I bought this bike while visiting family up in Wisconsin. I think this will be a nice new addition for my collection of motors. Its a Erik Buell Racing (EBR) 1145R. My cousin races for them, and hooked me on this bike as well as building the engine to race spec. Thing is covered in carbon fiber, and sounds beautiful! Im pretty damn excited

yup 1145 its a beastly bike. My cousin who sold it to me said its capable of 200mph, though i dont intend to test that claim lol. My favorite thing about it is the fact that its a v twin engine from buell (formerly owned by harley davidson), so its kinda unique in that reguard.

the crazy thing is in late oct EBR is comming out with an 1190! I kinda got a special thing here because the 1145 series wasnt offically a production bike. They were sort of a trial production to test the market interest, all of the 1145s are pretty much hand built by the race team and apparently there are very few of them.
