i just bought a 89' 240 with around 149000 miles on it, i was jsut wondering what kinda stuff i should do to the engine to make it run ok. Like new spark plugs, change the oil. I just wanna know what else i should do to make the car run better.

Congrats on the purchase. First of all, how is it running now? Is there any hesitation or backfire? Let us know how its running now, that will help determine what will need to happen first.

Hey Daniel, am i seeing correctly, do you have "Shark Eye" eyebrows on your headlights? If so what did you do to do that, didja paint it, or didja buy an aftermarket headlight like that. needless to say thats something i'd like to do..

Bah take that **** to the other forum... :)

Congratulations and like stated basic tune-ups are a to-do... Plugs wires dist. cap rotor all fluids (at least check them as they may have been recently replaced), and basic inspection of need to replace parts would be my first go.

Good luck with it.

yes i painted them on, i just went to a paint shop and gave them the color code and had them mix me up a can of paint, and i just taped them off were i wanted them and put on about 4-5 coats. turned out real good and cost $6.
