Hello everyone, new to the forum and just got a '94 Q45. Thought I'd post a few pics and ask for any advise you may have for owning this car.It has 110k miles, 2 week old paint, runs perfect and the interior is spotless. I really love it.Here are some pics...

Very nice Mike! Just out of curiosity, why was it repainted?

As far as advice, the 94-96 is much more bulletproof than the 90-93, but I would still recommend that you run a search for the following:

Transmission FlushTransmission CoolerTransmission FilterDifferential FluidBrake Flush

In other words, you want to replace every fluid in the car now and then about once/year thereafter. Assuming the car has been well maintained to this point, you'll get a lot of service out if it!

What area of AZ are you in? We have a couple of members, and my favorite parts supplier (Infiniti of Scottsdale) in the Phoenix area.

Welcome to NICO!

Thanks guys. I live at Lake Powell, it's about 4 1/2 north of Phoenix, right on the Utah border. I go to Scottsdale all the time. As a matter of fact, that's where the car came from!It was repainted because the front right quarter was hit and damaged. So it was replaced and instead of trying to match colors, they repainted the entire car, original green.

Thanks for the tips, I'll be using everyones knowledge at some point I'm sure.

Mike

Welcome to NICO, you'll enjoy yourself.

I'm glad you mentioned the damage as I wasn't going to point this out, but I did notice some misalignment along the pass door, in this pic.

Drivers seat looks good from what we can see in the on pic and that's a GOOD sign. The tan leather in that AZ heat, may mean the car was primarily garaged.

Get her some fresh fluids, make sure the tires meet the load requirements and take her on a long walk, you'll both be happy.

When you talk to Joe, there are two ATF filters on the later G50 like yours. The internal one always gets replaced. Astute owners will replace the external one also at your mileage.

Welcome to the club. Wish I could see Joe in person more often.
