Just bought a 2003 g35 that is in GREAT Shape and looks like a brand new car. Everyone keeps asking me if that's a new car, very excited to be driving this motor trend car of the year. Just seeing if anyone has any helpful hints to what I can use on the engine (oil, gas, etc. ) to keep it running great. I was looking at putting in a touch screen in the car, but not sure, any ideas to what I can use. Not looking to spend crazy $$ on that.

try to stick with synthetic oil, or at least a quality synthetic blend. Use 89 octane or better. You'll have better fuel economy and power.

Go with a prem gas if Coupe......however, nobody here has told me WHY the manual says PREM for Coupe and only recommends it for Sedan.... looks like the saem engine..

AND CONGRATS!!!!! I LUSTED over the G35's ever since I saw them at the CLT New Auto Show when they came out.

studies have shown very little to any noticeable difference in MPG improvement between the 3 grades of gas. True, the premium will give you the best kick, but otherwise, 87 works just fine.

when the folks that claim MPG will improve, they are not considering the increase in cost for premium over regular (~$0.30/gal). Thus, taking you into the red when looking at it from a pure dollar cost perspective.

Its that the coupe has different tuning, and 20 more hp. Thats why the sedan can cope with regular 87. But It makes 10 less hp with 87 than with 91.
