I finally went ahead and bought the G35, basically base model w/ the sunroof for 27670. I feel like I got jacked though , but I just kinda wanted to get it over with. I got the white with wheat interior.
Also, the manual says theres a break in period of about 2000 miles I think. Does that really matter or just the manual being overly cautious?

Sounds like you got a pretty good deal...BE HAPPY!!!
OBEY the break in periods -- they'll save you some headaches in the long run and your car will run much better for much longer.

I got really lucky when I bought my new 04' G35x for only 27 grand plus 5,000 bucks back! because I am friends with the owner of the dealership and it was the only last brand new 04' g35x sitting outside.

It was a new 2006 sedan. I guess it is a good deal, but I probably could've haggled down a couple hundred more if I really wanted to, but I just wanted to get it then b/c I had already invested almost a month looking into cars/negotiating prices.

By the way, after 2 wks, I love this car. Nice seats, great performance, and very sexy like p diddy's skin after proactiv. I still haven't gotten used to the touchy brakes, but it always takes me awhile to get used to a car's brakes when I get it.
