I just bought a 2007 Sentra SE-R Spec V. I love it but I'm still getting used to it, it's the first manual car I've had. I traded in my 07 Sentra 2.0s for it. If anyone has any ideas of what I can do to it feel free to say something! I would greatly appreciate it!

Here are a couple of pics of it:

The first day I got it:

The next day the windows got tinted:

I was thinking of making it turbo but I'm having a hard time finding a kit, and I want to put an intake, and maybe exhaust on it. If you have any ideas feel free to say something, I'm open to any ideas. Oh and i wanna tint the windshield, it was done on my other Sentra and looks sicks.

I think the first thing you should do is lose the side mouldings, it'll give your car a much cleaner look. The next step, get a drop for sure and maybe the stillen front lip?

Turbo kits for the B16's are pretty rare, head over to myspecv[dot]com. There are a few guys there that are/were turbo'd

If you're looking for an exhaust, there's a BRM catback available here for about $500?I've ordered the Tanabe medallion touring, once its installed I can have some soundclips up to help you choose

Would I be able to get rid of the side molding w/ no problem..like its not screwed in or anything? If not how could I get rid of it without scratching my car up? My other sentra didn't have it and i like it so much better without.

Dropping it is a really good idea, and thanks for directing me where to go for the turbo.

If you could put up some sound clips when it's done that would be awesome...I would def. wanna hear it before I bought it.

Thanks for the input I really appreciate it!

Im no expert but just to be safe you'd probably want to take it to a reputable body shopI doubt they're bolted on

I found out that they're not bolted on so I'm gunna look into how much it would cost to get them taken off. Thanks again for all the help!

I also looked into the turbo for my car...and they don't make one specifically for '07. I would have to get an '06 kit and modify it for my car...idk it sounds like a lot of work to me...but I think it would be worth it.

Also another thing is be prepared for your car to be off the road for a while. There's a member on myspecv that didnt have his car for a couple months (I think)

Anyway if you do manage to get a turbo kit working for your car, it will be a HUGE step for the B16 community!

That thing would tear an SS to pieces on corners.

Weren't the spec V's tested and tuned on the Nurburgring?

Yea I've read somewhere that it was, which is cool.

And i honestly think that the Spec-V and the Cobalt SS are a fairly even match. I would still def. pick my car over it any day, even though the SS is turbocharged. I'm not trying to bash my bf car but I think the look of my car is so much better, idk...what do you guys think...my spec-v or his ss??

And i know its a Nissan forum...so don't just go with my car lol...be honest what you think about both!

Here are a couple of pics of his car:

That's disappointing.

But at the end of the day...the SS is still just a cobalt. lol

if that cobalt is the turbo one, its making 260hp when the spec-v is 200 i think the ss would win. however i love both of these cars. so either way you both win. haha

Oh yea I know that it has more horsepower than my car....that's why I wanna make mine turbo lol. But I was talking about the look of it like the body style for my car I like so much better. But that's just me.

Even though the Cobalt is still a cobalt, the spec v is still a sentra I'll be honest I like the look of the cobalt, but I've always loved the look of the SE-R/Spec-v

Kind of a shameless plug, but just for the love of the sentra:

yea true it is still a sentra lol

Maybe I'm just jealous that my boyfriend has a faster car than me...and the fact that it's turbo too. haha but that will so change...hopefully!

just get one of these, you can beat him while all with the convenience of picking up the kids from soccer and storing a large amount of groceries.

actually so was the Cobalt SS. The Cobalt also has LSD and beat the V8 Mustangs track times. It handles better than most people would believe. also alot of these Forced Induction cars in the segment (Cobalt SS, Neon SRT4, GTI (yes im biased on that one)) are under rated power wise. The SE-R is a great car but dont start bashing the Cobalt SS until you have driven one. Yes the interior is rental crap material but it kicks a** performance wise. The current one is the best bang for the buck with 260hp, the MSP3 is the closest runner up.
