Need to do timing belt (its got 85,000 on it). the s-belt is sliding and the guy at Advance auto says there's three different S-belts? wut the hell?

ummm...got to do transmission fluid, ummm. clutch....let me know if i'm forgettin anything. Oh, and any input, I'd love to hear it. thanx everyone.

There are three different belts. There's a/c, alternator and fan.

Welcome to NICO. Be sure to check out all the FAQ's, tutorial, etc while you're here.

You engine has an internal *chain*, not belt. There are two seperate chains: one from the crank up to the idler pulley, then one from the idler pulley to the cam sprockets.

No real need to replace the chain itself, but I would reccomend replacing the other wear-able components. You'll find all the details info here, just search.

A service manual will come in handy for the above work: there's a link around here somewhere for it.
