Just bought Garret T28 turbo

I just sold my 93 prelude vtec and got a 96 240 with 49,000. I bought a complete used turbo charger system off this guy for 2,000. It's a T28 garret turbo with everything needed and a hugh obx intercooler. I know thats kinda small, but my goal is 250 to the wheels. Do u guys think it will be able to push out that much with some work? That guy who I bought it off of owns this import performance shop and is also willing to put it on for 1000. I think thats really high, how much did it cost you guys??

you will get 250 hp at 7 psi or less. install it yourself, paying 1000 is retarded

its goin to take more than 7psi from that turbo to make 250rwhp. 10-12psi is a better guess but it is very doable with the turbo. its actually a setup i love to drive on the street

$1000 is about what a normal, bring your mom's minivan, shop would charge. $500 give or take is about what a local 240 nut like myself or a reasonable place would charge
