I recently bought and installed the Pioneer AVIC F700BT In Dash GPS/Multimedia Player and everything went in and worked without a hitch. I had no attention in watching videos with my Nav unit so I did not worry about the parking brake cable included. However, the unit doesn't allow you to change system settings or NAV settings with the Parking Brake cable not connected. So.. I have been trying to figure how to get to the parking brake cable.
I have a Nissan Sentra 2007 (B16) and I have found the (2) screws under the little black surface thats right below the power input but couldn't find out how to remove the casing to get to the parking brake. I looked in the back and found 2 nuts but they were such in a awkward place that its almost impossible to get any kind of tool to remove them.
Does anyone have any experience in connecting the Parking Brake cable to the Nav Unit cable on a B16? Or Do you know of any kind of online guide or FAQ that I might be able to use?
Thanks for reading.
