Ahhh feels good to be back!!!!.Hey guys, the name is max.
I haven't been on here for a couple of years since I had another y34 for a minute before I found out it was a lemon and took it back. Now I just bought myself an 04 and I am very exited to start my transformation process, I have a few questions if you guys can answer thanks alot:D

1.is the q45 steering wheel compatible with our m45's?
The reason is i have the blackwood interior and it didn't come with the wood trim on the wheel but I know the q45 did and I know they are very similar
Just wondering if it's a straight fit or different, thanks

2. Is there any way to modify a q45 backup camera to the m45??
I have all the options on my m45(minus the spoiler) and was wondering if it could be done.

3. What's the biggest tire I can run if I decide to go with the fx35/45 20" wheels?? Scratch that!! 245/35/20 is a really comfortable size and doesn't look stretched out nasty.

Thanks a lot guys. I'll post up pics of my new ride as soon as I can :dblthumb:

well i finally found some good sized tires for the fx wheels I'm throwing on my M, i really didn't know what size to go with because i wanted to keep the stock feel, thanks to a member on here(elwesso) he gave me the tire size that was perfect for the wheels, thanks wes.
tomorrow i will hopefully be throwing on some tein springs on this and hopefully it will look a lot better, i will update my mods as the days go by this following week. here are a few pics of my M. thanks guys :dblthumb:

i must say i was kinda iffy about throwing chrome wheels on the M but not anymore, on silver M"s its still passable and
doesn't look exaggerated like on other M's like the black ones, nothing against the blacks just saying it
looks good on mine I'm not color racist, it be different if i drove a white M LOL!! :chuckle:

final look on the car, still need to clean it but will do that tomorrow after i throw on the springs :)

1. Not sure but probably not.
2. Most likely not as it would require re-program of the entertainment system if you were also thinking about using the OEM screen. Of the few options available on the 04, the back up camera was not one of them.
3. Don't know.

Welcome back!!!

:dblthumb: For this to be an 04, it still looks pretty darn good. Updated tail lights look much better than stockers..

thanks for the kudos guys, up next for the car is the jdm bumpers, i will not be using the grill though, i will be using the jdm zenki headlights with the grill that has no badge on it, i will however be using the zenki gloria hood ornament on the hood and the kouki gloria badge that originally goes on the hood on the trunk(just to keep people guessing) and debadge the rest of it, i will update with pictures as soon as i am done doing some work on these bumpers since they do have a few imperfections and dings, i just got the paint in today so it will be my weekend project, expect to see pictures by this sunday i am crossing my fingers, thanks :mike here is a pic of the bumpers, enjoy

It's actually pretty smooth ride, then with the Tein springs it made it even smoother, you can't really tell the difference, it definetaly does not take away smoothness from what an Infiniti should feel like.

here you go man, i took the liberty to find you the least expensive ones on ebay, all you gotta do is dig for them. don't just type in m45 or just y34 on the search box, i start from typing in nissan gloria or cedric and go thru the whole like 1000 items(which most are parts for the older glorias) to find availability and the best price.
i found these on ebay shipped from japan for $245 for you, its a really good price i payed over $300 for mine and there are members on here that have payed a lot more for theirs. they're plug and play man, no snipping wires or anything and the sweet thing is they are stock LED.

for the springs talk to oc infiniti in southern california they should have already gotten their new shipment in from tein, they usually post the springs on ebay for $320 shipped, but since they ran out of stock they took their ebay listing down, i called them about a month ago and they said they should get their new shipment in by 3 weeks so they should already have them, heres the their info, call them.
