What year is the 3.5SL?

There's really not much to keeping the 3.5 reliable. Just stick to the manufacturer's major recommended service intervals as best as possible --- and the car should be fine.

As long as the car isn't being "beat" or launched very hard every day, the CVT should hold up fine, and not experience premature failure.
