I may be willing to part with my Bridgestone Blizzak WS 50's size 215/60 r15. Only been mounted once in 2 years. Let me know if you're interested.

Their load rating is a bit small for my car..In chicago you surely would need them more than me in KY?

I was just gonna throw on All seasons ( in the alllseasony side of the range).

Even in Dec Here there will still be 60 degree days which will shred Blizzaks in quick order especially on a heavy car.

But I really appreciate the offer if I lived up further north I might have taken you up on it.

Yeah, maybe I should hang on to them. Especially since I heard it might snow on Monday. I have Bridgestone Turanza LST's that are pretty good in rain/snow. I drive mostly on the highway and It's kind of a hassle switching them out. I was thinking about just doing the rears and getting rid of the other 2 or getting a set of beater rims to put them on.

Thoe wheels look brand new ( and are nearly brand new according to seller) I have them stacked up in my living room right new to my boutique oil (German Castrol with the GummiBear smell).

I should reserve a corner in my living room for car stuff shrine.:fruit

And yes, before anyone asks, I am single..

I bet they are 15x6.5 if they are OEM 1995 G50 wheels.

Because m,y current tire fit are pure performance/summer tires.

Not safe even in the mildest of winters.

Do you think Cincy's winters are too mild (at times) for full blown winter/snow tires?

I'm VERY "on the fence" about putting a set of tires on the BBS take-off's I got or continuing to use a Honda/Acura as a winter ride, when it's slippery. That horrible snowy ice mess near E-town last November still makes me uneasy in the winter mess :(.

At the time I got caught with summer/performance tires (Bridgestone RE's), I now have BFG g-Force KDWS's.

Thoughts?

If you have a second car I would set it up as a winter car and use it as such.

The tires I will use will be allseasons, I'll try to use such that arent too close to performance treads.

In this location that will suffice as winter fit.

I just had the wheels and tires put on.

Looks kinda nice.Really emphasizes the drop the car has had I see now its a 1.5 inch drop.

I have new springs on order for a .75 drop.

But the turbine whels look real classy, not sporty but make the car look expensive.

The installer remarked how much lighter the 15nch turbine wheels are vs the big MSW's.

Qshipsta,

After second thought, it looks like it's gonna be pretty bad up here in Chicago. I didn't mount them last winter but it's 20 degrees here and I think it's gonna be a long cold winter with lots of snow. Sorry to offer em up and then change my mind...you can thank Fred for that.:)
