just bought a j30

took the car for a smog check, failed the timing test.off by 10 degrees.where can i get the timing adjusted or what coul be the problem.engine looks and sounds great. please help

Your J30 has the same engine as the Z32 300ZX (1990-1996 300ZX), so the timing belt of the Z32 FSM is also applicable to your car. You can find that FSM here:http://300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi

You might also try posting this in the J30 forum as well. Sometimes the Infiniti guys forget there's a world outside the Infiniti forums. I'm sure they can help direct you to a repuatable shop in your area at the very least.
