Just bought a J on eBay

Some of you may have seen it. It looked too nice to pass up. I've been reading this message board and other research, and I feel confident that a J30 is the right choice for me (I am an italian car nut, and I have given up hope that Alfa Romeo will come back to the US any time soon)! I do not have the car yet, but I can't wait to get it up to snuff and on the road. I am not sure if I'll do any of the suspension upgrades or not (it's not a 'T'), but I may conquer the stereo first, anyway. I wonder how good the Bose system is? My plan is to get a Japanese-spec Alpine 2-din unit with an iPod interface. Question is whether or not I'll need new speakers. How good are the Bose speakers, anyway? I'll post again once I get the car and have driven it for a while (and once my Infiniti mechanic gives me the 'real deal'). This message board has been extremely helpful, so thanks to all you J owners for making me a convert!

Oh forgot to mention: it has 107,000 miles and I got it for $6K. Should be a good price as long as it's in reasonably good mechanical condition. we shall see......

I like My Bose system but others here like aftermarket, I got luck and got some Brand New Bose 6x9's for less than 50 bux for 2 ,Quite a bit less than retail .. Be aware that the Factory Bose speakers are 1 Ohm and each speaker has its own amplifier .Head unit sends out a low signal.

It's a 1997, and they are stock Infiniti rims. I'm also guessing from a G35 coupe.
