Sup everyone,

Proud owner of an awesome 09 G37x Sedan. Just bought it tonight for $27,979 with 16k miles on it. Seems like a good deal based on what I saw out there!

Just wondering if there are some things that are "must get" mods or things that should be done which are known to everyone and just recommendations? (I used to be on Maxima forums and had a pretty modded max)

also maybe im really tired but i couldnt figure out how to set the time on it .. :-/ help?

Thanks and im glad to finally be a member of this awesome community!!

Welcome aboard

I went from a modded 2k2 Max to my '08 coupe. From an upgrade perspective, what are you looking for, performance or handling or both?

Congrats!!! & Welcome to Nico!!! Does sound like a pretty good deal.

Wife went from 02 Max to 02 Pathy to 05 G sedan to 08 G35X.

Daughter currently has a 00 Max. With 87K miles, I'm thinking I need to replace to struts/shocks. It isn't as tight as I would like it, but she doesn't seem to mind. maybe this summer.

Oh, pics!! we like pics!

congrats and welcome.

regarding the clock, not sure if the clock settings are the same for the 09 as my 05, but there are 2 buttons next to the clock, one moves it forward, the other reverses it. just press and hold down one of them.

otherwise, read the manual (although I never do).

'09 is the same. You use the semi-hidden buttons on the bottom of the clock.

Thanks for the welcome guys!!

im really looking for subtle mods that would make the car look a little "nicer" but keep the clean look. Probably will need to start with springs and wheels... (probably a question for the suspension board but,...) anyone have experience with the Eibach springs? can i install them with the stock dampers? any other springs that lower just a bit, but still somewhat keep the stock smooth ride? (i didnt find that many parts for the 09 at all)

thanks for the clock tip, didnt even see those (and they didnt give me a manual since i got it used... bastards...)

Thx again, pics will follow soon.

mine didn't come with a manual either, so I contacted Infiniti's HQ and asked for one, they sent me one for free. you can also download them online.
