Just sold my conversion package and am waiting for the dude to pick it up. In the meantime I picked up a pristine coupe 300zx TT. Not a sratch on her, original black leather seats no tears. The thing still has new car smell... crazy

The guy got a low mileage JDM engine n transmission and new fidanza flywheel and somehow stopped driving the car. The kid actually had an wrecked accord in the driveway so I think he got scared and sold the Z. Either that or he had to pay for the other guy's damage lol

I've done the following so far:555cc injectorsGreddy BOVs (amazing sound)SAFC II tunedProfec B boost controllerNew audio deckGreddy exhaustJWT Pop ChargerStrut bars

Did I mention all this for about 6000 laughable

I got a lot more planned for the summer, enjoy the pics

Its seriously fast....

That sounds like a really good deal, congrats. But are the wheels different colors?

Yes, the kid gave me a set of bad tires on the black rims so I swapped em with my other Z so I could go cruising.

The wheels he gave me didn't even get me home, I blew a tire out driving home and he had already used the spare so there was no air canister to charge the spare. I had to throw down 122.00 for just one tire at a local NTB to get me home. Other than that it was a good day...

I swapped the rims and went cruising that night tho, so its all good. I didn't want to mess up the differential on the odd tire out. The NA wheels I got on have thinner rears, but I got new rims goin on either way so its temporary

Your from IL.....

thats where I got it

You just gotta dig in and look everywhere.I actually got the deal from a website, it was a 2 month old posting on a freebie site.

IL is one of the best places to look in the midwest for Zs, I have found that anyway. Ultimate Z is in IL so it draws a lot of ppl in that area to have Zs.

haha yeah it does have cracking, but I am swappin those out with my other Z.

I also didn't find it on craigslist, but I don't doubt it was on there

The oil thing almost looks like a loose powersteering hose that is dripping because the turbo seals and block seals are all good, I checked em and they are dry.

176k miles?

did he have a reciept fer the JDM motor? he was trying to sell it on here a LONG time ago fer $12k with the same mods and miles and with some pics of him doing burnouts and drifting around in the snow and i was yelling at him for treating a TTZ like that and his price was insane.

lucky you. help me find one that's good and under 10k pa pa pleaaaaaaase.

yeah he had the reciept actually, I got reciepts for almost all the work. The odometer seems a bit messed so I don't think it is anywhere near 170k. The underbody is too clean and the car is way too good of shape. I dunno why he would care about rain, except for the fact he put shi*ty tires on the car to sell it and those won't handle rain

The car is amazing, but I will keep my eye out for you. 12k is a bit excessive but I bet it could have went for 10 easy with the right promotion. I see TTs in worse cond. on ebay go for 10.

My buddy is lookin to sell his NA to TT conversion, he was lookin 4-5k for that. Virginia tho.

Best time to shop however is fall and winter when prices are lower, obviously. For Wisconsin you can see who is selling through my local Z club, Zcrew.net

i really don't care where the car is but i just really wont have the time to check it out anymore. i start full time soon. this is my last weekend to find a Z. but then again i havn't sold my s14 yet.

i'm thinking about this tho....

88k miles rebuilt motor 9k miles ago. $14k + shipping. it's in calidyno'd @ 394 @ 20psi but he drives it at 14-16psi because it's so hot there....

^^^ I saw that Z for sale on 3ZC. I don't really know if I would spend that much on a modified Z. Personally, I much rather have a stock, unmolested Z.

Its not "molested", I don't buy rag tag cars. All the reciepts are for the last 2 years and the intervals the kid used the equipment are minimal. The condition of the car spoke volumes to me. That is actually the whole reason I got it, the work was done all by shops and the condition was astounding. I crawled all over the engine bay and under the car looking for something that would kill the deal, but I found nothing.

molested... sorry that word just pissed me off a lil lol

nothin against ya freakonaleash

i think he was talking to me tho... cuz i posted a car up that i wanted to buy...

also... finding a stock TTZ these days is getting PRETTY hard... AND expensive... i'd be spending more on a stock Z then a slightly modded 1
