On Saturday i finally bought a 2012 black altima 2.5 coupe. First mod I did was window tint. Lots of mods to come, looking to lower it on spring for now, black rim, and debadge the trunk. Also have all leds coming in for the interior and hid kit on its way. What you guys think I should do next? What about a racingline y-pipe? Does that change the sound at all ? Also intake and exhaust.

Welcome and congrats!

Unfortunately, the Racingline Y-Pipe is not built for the 2.5 models. You have header options from Stillen, exhaust options from many companies, or you could do a custom build.

Welcome to the best Altima forum on the web!

Search around... there is a lot of great information here. There is a sticky at the top of the topic list that has parts and accessories listed (which needs to be updated *slaps self*).

It all depends on your budget. In my opinion, you should save up and get coilovers. This will change the entire look of the car. Looking at your pictures and the A/C's stock height... :tisk: I can't believe the wheel gap was that big. It's almost the same height as my mom's murano!

I know I hate it! Looks like a 4x4 but coils are a lil to expensive, just looking to get the lowered for now then later on see what I can afford

Debadging was the first thing I did about 30 mins after buying the car. Heat those badges up and get some fishing string to take em off.

I wouldn't even use heat. Use dental floss between the plastic piece and the adhesive, and use bug/tar remover to get the adhesive padding off. I have seen too many people use too much heat and eff up paint (someone did it on my 370 and I have a goofy nismo emblem covering up a nasty patch that went past the primer bc of that).

OP - look into Tein or Eibach springs to get a nice drop without the cost of coils. Just be sure to get a proper alignment after installing them!

Dental Floss is the way to go. I didnt use heat either. Work it fack and forth slowly.
50/50 goof off and H2O in a microfiber cloth got rid of the excess residue.
Re polish and wax afterwards as the goof off will remove and protection.
Welcome aboard!

I did my friend's G37 with heat gun + string, came out perfect. Also my car was done the same way.
