Hi all, I am new here but excited to say, I just bought a 1990 300 Twin with 13000 miles on it. Car should arrive in the next day or so. I used to sell these new back in the early 90's and always said I would get one. Glad to say that I purchased such a low mile, well sorted car.

I just sold my Jalpa and Countach and now have some funds to play with and plan on keeping this 300 for some time. I can't wait to drive one again.

I am wondering of someone wouldn't mind some help with the offsets as I would like to put some nicer rims on the car? I have found many that say they will fit but are in some cases are way off. What is the stock offset on the Turbo and what will work without having the wheel sticking out?

Thanks in advance, look forward to sharing some 300 enthusiasm.Pics attached of the car and the two old ones.JeffSorry couldn't figure out how to ad pics.

Congrats on the amazing purchase. I would kill for a TTZ with under 25k miles.

Welcome to the Z world, glad to have you on board.

BTW, post pictures of your Z!

Thanks friends. I plan to keep the car bone stock with the exception of some nice rims. Which is what I did on my Jalpa. Will try and post pics when the car gets here and can figure out how to post them.

If you need help with the pics, email them to me and I can post them.

The best way to post pics is upload them to a hosting site (like http://www.photobucket.com) and then in a post here at NICO, put the following:

Thank you. The most modifying I would do to this would be rims and exhaust. Any suggestions on great sounding exhaust that doesn't require to much modifications? Also prefer to leave the twin/split exhaust look.

Ill give u a head start

^ great find with the Z.for exhaust i would recommend the HKS Hi-power exhaust. Its what i have on my own Z and now i just cant stop reving it.BTW its a direct bolt on that any one can install. Labor shouldnt be more than $50

here is an older pic of my exhaust before i had my kit on.As u can see it comes out at an angle.

HKS Hi-Power is amazing. They sound really nice. Alot better then Stillen or Megan Racing in my opinion.

It is a pearl black metallic 5spd. Not looking to rice it too much but do want to change the rims and have a good sound. Would prefer split dual exhaust vs honkin big split singles. Is there not a better way to add photos?

The way I put to add photos is about the only way you can post photos.

If you are looking for a nice looking exhaust, the SpecialtyZ is IMO the best looking exhaust out there, but it also comes with a huge pricetag, close to $1k and more for the stainless steel exhaust with resonators, which you will want because it will be too raspy otherwise.

For the price, the HKS Hi-power exhuast (which was pictured in this thread) is probably the best exhaust for the money, it is almost half the price of the SpecialtyZ exhaust.

Load them up on photodump.org and then just hit the image icon above (the mountain with the sun picture) and add the URL in between the two [img] icons.

I will post some pics as soon as the car arrives. Looking forward to driving one again and seeing how it performs against my 911 C4 Cab of the same year.

They are amazing cars. Nobody knows the true feeling of driving a Z until they have actually driven one.
