Hello All,

Just thought I would post that I sold my 2005 G-Coupe and purchased a 2010 FX35, White/Wheat with Premium and Nav. I love it so far. It is a night and day difference from driving and sitting low in the coupe.

Anyway, thought I would share. Everyone have a good weekend.

I think it is an FX37 in Europe at the moment. The back of mine says FX35. They will probably change it in 2011 to an FX37 over here. They always change a bunch of stuff the year AFTER I buy one so who knows.....

Hey Jeff, I see you had an '85 Maxima. We use to have an '86 Maxima, fully loaded. It was charcoal gray exterior. I loved that car. I learned how to drive a stick on that car. The cool thing was it talked to you and said things like "Keys are in the ignition" or "fuel level is low" stuff like that. Very cool for the time. That car was $13,000 new in '86, now they are like $35,000. Just shows what time and inflation can do.

Anyway, thought I would share.

i just traded in my 2009 EX-35 for a new 2010 FX-35 (Umbria with black interior). My wife and I really liked the EX-35, but it was just a little too small, so went for the FX. My first Infiniti was an FX-45 in 2003, then bought a 2005 G35 coupe for my wife, who later traded it for a 2006 M-35-X, later trading for a 2009 EX-35. So my new FX-35 is my 5th Infiniti. So far am very happy with the FX-35 and used the all-wheel drive today (some snow in NE Ohio). I bought the last two cars at Cochran Infiniti in Monroeville, PA, as they are only about an hour from home.

I love the car and I am happy with the price I got and what I got for the price.

Yeah, I could have got a cheaper 2009 model but I wanted the 2010 because the NAV was improved over the '09 version.

I could have probably found the 2010 a few thousand cheaper in the North East but would have spent the $2M to have it trailered to Dallas. I am happy with the deal I got.

I wonder if you purchased the 09 would they update the software for it? Or is it the hardware that is different?

In talking to my salesman, it sounds like it is probably new hardware. It is apparently a totally new system so I doubt an update would do it for the '09's.

It was enough of a change in the '10 that the salesmen had to take a class to learn how to navigate through it.

how come the fx say has the 3.5L engine while the G's get the 3.7L? I would think that the heavier FX would benefit from the higher torque?

They will probably revise to a 3.7 for the 2011 model year. I think the FX37 is selling in Europe right now with the 3.7L but not sure. I just skimmed an article the other day but didn't read it in detail.

I just traded in my EX 35 08 for a 2010 FX35. Vast difference in size and nav. Ride is about the same as is noise. I had nav on my EX and the new 2010 nav is a big improvement. The screen is 8" so I don't think one could upgrade. My biggest thing I miss is the Michelins on the EX. These are Brigestones.Yellowbear

Let us know how the low fuel warning light works on this new model.Mine is useless. only comes on when the car is out of gas.

Will do. To be honest I haven't been letting it get below half a tank. I find it to be less sticker shock at the pump that way.
