Hey all! Just picked up this car for 200 bucks... never saw one like I before. Turns out it's a 200sx Turbo Hatch... in good cosmetic shape, engine need the throttle body fixed. First question. I've heard it's extremely hard to find parts for it... True? Also, Is there anything I should know or be wary of before trying to get her back on the road? Any info is welcomed! Pics..

Nice! Haven't seen one of those for a while. They're neat cars and pretty niche. You're probably right about the parts availability, but while hard, it probably won't be impossible.

Looking forwards to a project thread!!

:welcome:

I revised your topic title to generate more interest.

Here at NICO, we have Factory Service Manuals (FSM) available free to members. Unfortunately we currently only offer the FSM for the 1986 model, but it may still be of use to you: 200sx - 1986 - s12_manual

As for parts, you can check your local salvage yards, and NissanPartsDeal.com 1985 Nissan 200SX Parts

Nice find. I hope that window hasn't been down the whole time it's been sitting outside.

These are neat rides. There's a few around my area. The kids down the street have one. I think you'll be okay with consumables and a little work for more specific parts. Who cracks a window for these photos? No one. The window has been down for a while and the interior will need work. Hopefully shampoo and new adhesives will be enough to start.

Congrats and welcome to NICO Club!

I used to be a big S12 200SX supporter on ClubS12, and I owned a '87 V6 hatch for several years! Yours has a body that looks to be in very good condition, and very complete! Most S12s you see these days are always missing lights or panels...

Can we get a under-the-hood shot? I think I can help you with finding parts if you ever need anything. I still have a few parts in my storage space from mine that might help, and I know of other sources that are still worth the trouble of tracking down.
