Just bought a 1970 510! I have some questions.

Discussion forum for the venerable 510, and its non-US counterparts, the Datsun 1600 and Bluebird.

Hey guys,

I just bought a '70 dime, and I want to know what the best suspension setup that you guys can recommend. I want to run a really nice coil-over kit, but I don't know what will fit.

Also, with rimes and tires what is the wheel displacement I should look for, I want to run some 16" rimes.

If you guys could give me some suggestions that would be great! I will post some pictures up soon!

best possible front struts are R31 turbo struts.....put custom coil overs on them.You can run FWD or RWD offset RIMS on them.....they are the shortest strut of that design, AND, you can BOLT any R32/Z32 4 spot callipers and discs onto them!

You know I would rather have some skateboard wheels at this point! I had those wheels! I've only had the car for about 2 weeks... As soon as I get some cash.. all new suspension, brakes, rimes and tires!
