Just bought a 06 g35 coupe w/sport package (auto). needs new pads + rotors.

Good afternoon all. So, I am asking for you all's experienced advice. Someone ran into me and totaled my 03 qx4, so i bought an 06 g35 coupe. Couple of questions... I know that the brembo package was no longer available on the 06 models... so, when i go to the auto parts store, why do they ask me if is has the standard calipers or some other type demarcated by 3 triangles? Also, it needs new pads and rotors. Does anyone have experience with baer rotors or pads? Could someone compare to brembo or hks? Baer has an oe replacement that is a +1 application, slotted and drilled. I'm sure plus1 will work with the stock 19...right? And the dang cd player keeps freezing up and telling me to press eject repeatedly....ugh

Also, what is so different about the brake config on the 05 and 06 compared to the 03-04. It seems all the aftermarket stuff i can find is all for the 03-04. Will they still work?

That Baer app is getting you into some expensive modifications, which aren't needed.

05-06 Coupe/Sedan got bigger brakes compared to the 03-04. No you need to make sure the parts are specific to the year range you have. The g35x got the brake upgrade in 06.
