I personally wouldn't go with anything larger than 19's. Just my opinion!

I really think it's hard to beat the look of the 18 rays that come with the sport pkg. Unless it's BBS's

if you get 20's, don't havem blinging so damn much. cause cops will stereotype you and pull ur @$$ over. and plus the tires are up the arse on price! I agree, 19's are the highest to go on a G, there is one here in my complex, carribean blue with aero package, it has these blinging a$$ 20's on it. it looks like crap. the rims are freakin dumb. SO....

20s look nice if you get a good set, but tires are expensive and cops possibly pull u over more.

19's look great but they still have expensive tires also (19's highest by members recommendation on G's)

18's is the way to go because the look is just right and the tires are about $100 less than 19's. most cost efficient and style is still lookin good.

So it's really up to you, this is just my 2 cents. either way, congrats on getting a G!

Hope this advice helps...

Go for it. For my ride a chose a set of 20s that could almost pass for factory - in other words I chose a style that compliments rather than detracts from the overalll look of the car. For that reason chrome was a no no for me. There is no chrome on the car. Even the grille is like a bronze color.

Put some Ds on it on it!!

I say go 19's at most not 20's

Your ride quality will also change. So it's up to you if you want to sacrifice comfort for "bling" or VIP style.

17" is the perfect size rim for the G if you care about performance.

Get some 40 series rubber on your factory 17's and just tell everyone they are 20's LOL

I loved the look of the 20's on my G35X. The G wheel wells eat up tires - you can fit a lot without it looking cartoonish. There are a couple of pictures here of the 20's on my car at the bottom:

Ok... point made... 20's can look sweet on a sedan as well!!

What about the ride quality though? Big difference?

Well, I put the original 17's back on and I can't take corners quite as fast any more

But yeah, there is a difference, the 17's are a smoother ride and I don't have to worry about damn potholes in the road - although that did make me a more alert driver I put the 17's back on because of the cost of the tires and the pothole worries, I'm driving too much for work now and the 17's just made more sense.

But for looks I would keep my 20's.
