so emissions are really strict here in nc for obd2's anyways, so my question is. i welded my egr tube to the bottom mount manifold not the downpipe(same location as stock) by using another egr tube from ford escort that had a bong/big as nut that can be remove if necessary, is there a sertain location were it shouldoff being welded or im i fine were its at????????? or would it cause a vaccum leak???????

You really should have welded it to your downpipe.

Welding it there is going to cause you to have extra turbo lag and im not sure how long the EGR valve is going to stand up to at least 7-8 psi of positive pressure. It very well eventually could cause a vac leak, or leak right away.

k so, like i said b/f i can take the tube off, i have a plug for it, but if i do can i just plug the vaccum line for the egr or can i leave it plug to the egr, that way when emission comes aroud i can just intall the tube in there long enough to pass emissions..........

most of evrything i search 4 is for the obd1 so im kind of comfused a little?????also i wonder if that y my fuel gauge drop to 0 the instant i cut the car off
