10k sounds a bit crazy. i'm no expert but that sounds waaaaay more then it should cost. i mean, i know a lot will go into it but how much would it really cost for a Murano rear end and how much would it really cost for that extra fabrication (shouldn't even be much custom fabrication cuz they're built on the same platform). mehdi, got any insight here, any rough price estimates since you were looking at doing this in the future?ESP wrote:About 10k just for the RWD conversion alone (from what I've heard)...
for a murano it would cost the price of the rear end, drive shaft etc. Id say max 4000$ then mounting it all on the car could take a while and then making the adapter plates and mounting points and brakets and clearing space ans stuff could be expensife if you don't have the tools. I'd say from free to the price of buying the tools or renting them. then having the ecu programmed to work with the awd module could be from 800$ to 2000$. so I'd say from 5000$ to 7000$ would be a good estimate.Hussain wrote:
