that is pretty sick! I cannot wait until I have the money to invest in my swap... but it's probably going to be a slow and long process. That's a nice build though, keep up the good work!

Who made the exhaust manifold for your car. I plan on running a HY with AEM standalone also, just trying to get as much input from people who are running same set up. What size are your injectors? Thanks and good luck.

well Larry, the manifold is an Australian specials from E Bay> here is a link to one just like mine

http://cgi.ebay.com/FLYING-SKY...wItem

as far as the out of box fit.....well it depends on the size of turbo ya want and if its going to be a Holset like mine...... well here is some pictures of what was needed of the install.as far as the quality, well it looks to be thick and stout and looks to be something that will hold up, but time will tell.the injectors are MSD 50lbs 550 top feeds, i got them and the fuel rail from JGY and the down pipe is all custom 4" gradually reducing to 3" at the bottom of the fire wall, its a close fit but nothing is hitting.

same turbo mani as i have...i also had to modify the back runner...but i have some bad news for you my man..the 38mm gate you ahev on there isnt gonna cut it...get ready to experience oober boost creep....it isnt near big enough..i had to go greddy type R 50mm gate to rectify that prblem on mine.

2 step is retarding the timing and dumping fuel. u can get it to build boost.

heres mine with a lowered rev limiter for launch and fire works:

aaaaa man , for real? did you half to modify the mani any more? , dos it bolt up to the same flange and would that wast gate be much bigger?, as you know to , the 38mm i got now fits almost like a puzzle. by the way, what turbo are you running? .....O ya, and about what RPM did the creeping start?

well the turbo im running is a 60-1 garret, yes he flanges are different your 38mm gate a small two bolt flange. the 50mm greddy gate that i got is a four bolt flange...they are mad expensive so if you arent willing come off the wallet 800.00 bones then i would just get a tial 44mm gate or a prosmart 48mm gate...bigger gate is a mofo to get in there...i havent put mine on there yet but i can tell you that the amount of people i have discussed this with in new zealand and austrailia that im speaking the truth...my gate isnt on there as of yet due to the lack of money coming in from work cause its slow as balls ...lol but i am more than likley going to remove my AC compresor seems how i decided that im not gonna run ac and plumb my gate towards the front rather than the back of the engine

I'm still waiting anxiously to here how this thing goes with the HY35. I'm trying to decide on whether or not to replace my TO4e P-trim .84 a/r with a HX35. I'm a drag racer, and just made 400rwhp with it, but it's not near enough. I have access to a HX35 on the cheap, but I need to make sure it's going to be a worth while upgrade before I spend all the money/time to put it on.

I love that sound, It sounds monstrous! The welds on that stainless weren't allowed to cool in the shielding gas, that's why they turned gray. My teacher told me that they will rust or the weld will fail. I never understood why since you can brush it off with a wire wheel. I hope it doesn't crack or rust on you.

well I am all dun and am now running the 50mm china gate 150 bucks LOL, don't know about how long this thing last but I will let ya know.any how here is some pics of the final fab work.hope some of it helps and O ya.... giving the whole setup with the top mount and hood clearance ishews I made an engine tie down bracket so the engine dos not pop up and hit the hood> hope that helps some one to.

here is some first drive video from last night....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZaNmTWsa6zQ

So after driving the car , we found that the UHMW plastic piece in the turbo inlet Holset HY35 was blocking the boost serge venting slits around the inlet bell ( this will be the first picture) and wile doing modulated throttling (BOOST) with the gas pedal, the turbo would make MAD boost (between turbo and TB) until it would start pushing threw the BOV and oscillating back threw the turbo compressor lol.after opening the BOV some more and taking out the UHMW piece form the turbo inlet everything was good and OMG the f---ing turbo sounds like a jet plane(loud). next time I drive it I will remember to take a roll of toilet paper with me LOL next week my brother will write in the rest of the fuel mapping and tune on the dyno

BEFORE THE 50MM WG

AFTER THE FAB WORK AND 50MM INSTALL

HERE IS THE TORQUE MOUNT BRACKET
