if you're putting an sohc motor into a 89-90 240.. you dont need to change anything.

Your posts are rather hard to understand. Is english your first language? If not then no offense. If so then you need to make a concerted effort to be sober when you post.

Are you putting a sohc ka24e in your car or are you putting a dohc ka24de in your car? Does it have an engine in it right now? The sohc ka24e is the stock engine for that car. Exactly what is it that you are trying to ask?

Well...English wasn't my first language bare with me people. Yes , I am putting a KA24e in my car. it gots everything on ka24e. what I'm trying to ask is it hard pluging different things around the car. Since my car is 89 hatch. well....just let u know this will be my first exp putting in motors in car. so...I am kinda new at this , but I like 240's ever since I saw a friend had one it looked nice. so...I thought I get one.

the ka24e was the engine that the car came with.. so it should be just plug 'n' play all the way

do you already have a motor in the car, which you are just replacing, or is it an empty engine bay? It sounds like you don't since you are waiting for a harness.

I did my first engine pull/install at the beginning of the year. Since i was pulling my old motor i labeled all the vacuum lines and parts of the wiring harness to facilitate installation(many people do this) but some connections are obvious where they go

If you are not very familiar with the engine then you may have a bit of trouble figuring out where things go. It would help a lot if you could find another 1989-1990 240 to look at for reference. If not, you could also post pictures with a digital camera and we can help tell you where things go when you can't figure it out.
