I own a Nissan 240sx. It is a 1989 model but I swapped out the SOHC engine and A/T for a 1991 DOHC engine and 1989 M/T. The engine that I swapped in has locked. I am going to rebuild my ka24(d)e and turbocharge it. My question is, can I use a stock sr20(d)e-t exhaust with my new ka24(d)e-t set up? The turbocharger that I have is a T25 and if I can use the sr20(d)e-t exhaust system from the turbocharger all the way back to the stock tailpipe I would like to. Of course I would throw in a high flow catalytic converter but I really just want my car to sound and perform as if my ka24(d)e came turbocharged from the factory. Not looking for loud buzzy aftermarket exhaust components. Any other suggestions for part purchases would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

I know they put the ka exaust heaters on the s 13 sr20de motor with minor mods, not sure if it works the other way around.I'd get the sr motor instead of turbocharge the KA,less headache. cheaper too!

I kind of have a conflict with an sr20 guy right now and need to beat him in a turbocharged ka24(d)e-t. I already own the turbo-manifold for the ka24(d)e and I have the T25 turbocharger. I need to know if the downpipe and elbow and all the other stuff will work.

yes the factory O2 housing and downpipe will work....but I can tell you right now you're not gonna beat an SR with bolt ons running a T25 KA with the stock downpipe and exhaust.

try a circuit sports or megan racing exhaust...like a twin tip catback--those arent as ricey and have a deep tone to em
