just a quick aside

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

during my search for the right vehicle I was torn between the q5 and the ex35 which most writers will tell you are in the x3 segment. imagine my delight in being on the highway sunday directly behind a q5 which was behind an x3. was astonished in just how similar the q5 and ex35 appear to be in dimension and design. even down to the curving roof lines and huge mirrors. still I am glad I got the ex and though I wish it was as quiet as a q5 I am happy with the decision.

to be fair, on the flip side, i'm kinda really digging the interior of the Q5 moreso than our EX. But mostly because i feel a bit "cramped" (not literally, just design flow);

but that's not the only factor we look at when we pick a car of course, so ultimately i, too, am also very happy i picked the EX.

I wanted a Q5, but the dealer was not about to deal--they said they were "pre-discounted" and didn't want to discuss price. I am very happy with the EX---and the price....
