The car is coming out HARD this season!New motor is in the shop being built, and we'll be ready to run in the Outlaw class soon.

Here's a few pictures of the carnage as we pull the old motor and prepare to install the new.

Gotta love the way coolant and oil mix when you crack the sleeve in the cylinder wall. (dark spots in the orange are oil)

Lots of little metal bits in the oil in the heads...

Yeah, we kinda made a mess...

Yep, water pump and timing chain went too...

The trashed bumper. It's cracked in 4 places from the impact when the motor went on nitrous and the front end slammed down on the ground.

A couple front shots...

Just to make everyone feel better about this whole thing, this is what it looks like when it's all together :)

Good luck to everyone this season!Chris & Linsey

I'm a big fan of the 350 motor(it's what powers my Z71) so i'd probably wet myself if i even got to ride in that beast!

i saw your car in action at the Drift session, and it was a beast. Sounded so mean, and smoked the sh*t out of those meats you had on it. one crazy 240

That oil coolant mix looks like a really bad case of the runs.

lol, I agree completely. But then again Drag suspension doesn't usually do cornering too well...Every time I went arround a corner it felt like I could just reach out and touch the ground with my fingers.:ylsuper

aries - whats the outside diameter of your rear wheels? my dad has a harley davidson f150 with chrome 20"s and i was toying with the idea of putting 2 of them on my car and taking a side shot, but i dont know if they would fit in the fender heh.

Outside diameter = 28.35" with the tires completely full.Stock 240's will clear about 26.20" before the fender rubbs.
