i found his add for a set of coilovers (post6285093.html#p6285093) i texted him on feb 2nd, paid him on feb 3rd. he claimed to ship them out on the 4th. he also claimed to have forgotten to get the tracking number. so i went a week, nothing showed up, tried to contact him, no answer. so i went a few more days, then contacted him via facebook. he then claims he gave his phone to his little brother and thats why he wasnt answering me. he then went on to say if i didnt receive them by the end of the week, hed refund me, so i felt like that maybe he wasnt trying to scam me.

so i contacted him again at the end of the week. and he hasnt answered me since the 17th. i started a claim with paypal today and paid for them the normal way, and not as a gift. so im sure ill get my money back. but then i decided to check the add again, and i found that another member posted saying he bought these awhile ago, then i knew he was deff scamming me. ill update this thread on how it goes with paypal. i just thought id get his name out there to warn other members about him.

he answered a text finally, my guess he got the email from paypal about the dispute. he said he'll refund me by friday. he also got hostile when i mentioned about him selling them to someone else.

ill update once i receive the money back.

OP. I am originally from an area not to far from Rock Island, Illinois. I know several people in the Quad City Area. Do you have a name for this person? I can make a few phone calls to see if we can't get this resolved quickly. And I am not implying any kind of harassment or physicality, but maybe someone up there that I know knows him and can find out what the situation is.

thanks neal, i just sent you my link. im waiting on him to refund me, if not paypal says theyll give me it back. may take up to 12 days tho. hopefully they stick to there word. this is my first dispute with them so im not sure how it all works out.

ive had his facebook, his phone number, and both of his emails form the start. another reason i didnt expect him to scam me. his numbers actually listed in his add for the coilovers. and thanks to responding fast. ill keep updateing as i hear from him or paypal.
oh and he actually blocked me on facebook since i posted on his wall about how i basically caught him scamming me. lol
