Alright guys, I'm new here and I realize that I might be able to find this information by myself, but I'm in a slight hury. I'v been looking to buy a 240sx for a while and was aiming for a hatchback from 91 to 93. I was looking for something with around 120000 miles for $1700. After that I was probably going to rebuild the engine, or at least try to. Anyways, now I found one from 1990 with 200000 miles for $700. That means it has 15 less horsepower because it has single overhead cams. However if it only costs $700, I thought that I might just be able to get a new engine.
So now what I'm wondering is, can I fit the KA24DE engine in it from a 91-93 s13? Or even better, can I put an s14 or maybe even s15 engine into it?
Do you think it's worth it getting this one and working on it or should I just wait for a better one?
