ok im kinda new to the 240 scene and there are a few things i've been reading on the forums and I can't quite figure out what they mean.im probably gonna come off really dumb and im fully prepared to be bashed but here goes nothin

what do people mean when the say RPS13 i mean i know what the s13 stands for but i dont understand the RP

and what is HUD im always seeing this when people are talking about gauge clusters so i know it has something to do with that.

I believe RP stands for the fastbacks w/ SR20

and HUD is heads up display, you can see ur speed on ur windshield (dunno what else it can do though)

As far as the RPS13, check out this link. It explains what all the different chassis codes mean. http://www.sillbeer.com/chassiscodes.phpHICAS is Nissan's name for 4 wheel steering. Check out http://www.socal240sx.org They have scans of the factory brochures from 89-98. The brochures have good descriptions of the different 240 options.

HUD was only on the S13 coupes in the states. The hatches, like all the other cool options including the power moon roof, never got it.
