I have been out for a little while don't know if I was missed but I have done some write-ups I found q45.org and I removed the glovebox cleaned the Evaportor

I removed the lower part of the dash and found that the cigarete lighter which i thought to be bad was actually good but I just happened to touch the positive and negitive together there by shorting the fuse and thank god for fuses.

Sorry I was lazy and forgot to take pictures but I must say the interior is so easy to work on all that left to do is replace the dash lights and that will be simple since I pulled that almost all the way out before.

But not the questions:

When I open the sun roof in the vent position the motor doent stop. Is this normal? whedn i open and close the sun roof fully or when I close the sun roof from the vent position the motor stops but in this case it keeps going.

the sunroof has a hard time opening I can hear the motor working but the sunroof needs to be pushed back by hand so what could it be? also I pulled the 2 map lights and the place where you put the allan wrench to close the sunroof manually stops spinning.

How can i find out my Idle because the RPM gauge isnt the most accurate way to measure RPM's.

Whats the best way to clean/flush the radiator and is this write-up correct well I can't find it but is said to refill with 70% distilled water and 30% collant and 2 botles of redline WaterWetter. won't the block cracki in the winter?

What color should the coolant that goes into the radator be is it green, purple or yellow?

My seal on my sunroof is somewhat noisey when I open the sun roof is there any rubber condition of some sort to to quiet the seal?

When upgrading to z32 brakes do I have to cut the front heat sheild or can I just bend it back a little bit and will they fit around my Q45A wheels you know the ones that look like dubs?

When i upgrade to z32 brakes do I have to replace my master cylinder and e-brake componets?

Transmision flushes on my Q were done every 2 years will that have any effect on the transmision life?

How do install a transmision tempurture sensor gauge, oil pressure and tempurature gauge?

I also live near 92Q45guy which happens to have a transmission cooler could that be used as an oil cooler?

And will it fit next to the transmission cooler or is that to many coolers in front of the radiator or could the "oil cooler" be mounted some where else?

What is the rectanglar plug in back of the radio?

On the 91 models with out a cd changer hook up there are two plugs for the antenna on my 93 there is only one why? and are both antenna working though one plug?

The question is will the small tiny pipes in the AT cooler deal with the more viscous cold oil and can they survive the 150-200+ peak psi of a cold crank without exploding?

The drain from TC and back pressure in rear planetary supplies a ~~ 30-40 psi pressure in the ATF cooler.

I would be scared of rubber hoses and clamps carrying engine oil.

Hey, I will answer only the questions that I'm familiar with. I also am having an issue with my sunroof. The problem has become worse over time but I don't use my sunroof much so it's ok. I only tilt the roof up. If I try to slide it back now, it barely moves unless I put pressure by hand. Wess stated awhile back that I could use some type of rail grease, but the hot OK sun burns my skin, so I'm ok...

1) I've never done a actual flush on my car and I don't think it's hard, but I paid $39.99 to have this done with the BG system. I didn't want to bother with this myself. Your mixture sounds about right.

2) Use the good ole green stuff!!

3) It depends on how much you drive your car. The amount of mileage you put on the fluid. You suppose to change out your transmission fluid every 30k max! Mine is due for changing again around 200k. Do not go by color of fluid on dipstick alone! I have M1 syn Mercon V atf in now, but I will go with the cheaper Dex VI on my next mechanical exchange. My transmission is shifting great without a cooler too.

4) Sorry, don't know much about transmission coolers....

My 97 Q45 works the same way, so I guess it is normal.

This is normal.

The rails needed to be greased and the motors clutch needed to be tightened. But always clean and re-grease the sun roof track (rails) before touching the motor.

A Nissan Consult or Laptop Consult must be used.

Use distilled water to flush the radiator and use a BG cleaner (Made for the cooling system) to flush the system. Repeat till the water that comes out of the lower hose or drain c*** is clear.

Use a coolant tester to see if coolant is sufficient enough to last you the winter.

Only Organic Acid Technology (OAT) coolant should be used which is green.

Use Sil Glyde or clean with a dilluted rubbing alcohol.

When i upgrade to z32 brakes do I have to replace my master cylinder and e-brake components?

The heat/dust shields need to be cut or removed for the Z32 (1990-1996 300ZX) brakes to fit properly.

Sixteen inch wheels or bigger are required for the Z32 brakes to fit.

The Master Cylinder (MC) does not need to be replaced when adding Z32 brakes.

Flushing the transmission with a BG machine/Snap on machine or by drain and refill will only add life to the transmission.

The OEM Q45 Transmission comes with a transmission temperature sensor but it may not be very accurate due to the age (Varnish). Installing a temperate probe in the pan is the way to go. The wires must be routed to the interior which maybe a pain. Other gauges must be installed in the same fashion.

Q45Tech said why to not use a Automatic Transmission (A/T) cooler as a engine oil cooler.

I still have no idea what that rectangular plug on the back of the radio is.

I have no idea what I meant.
