Just a comparassion

I was reading about the s2k, and then started wondering about if a stock SR would out run a honda s2000? Using the numbers of course. The s2k does have more power, but takes forever to make that power. Torque, it has pretty much none, and takes forever to make that. Now even though the s2k out powers it, how would a SR 240 compare to it? The SR does have more torque and less power, but it does make all the power and torque waay before the s2k.

Any thoughts?

It might be a tough call. I would say the SR would take it off the line and keep the lead for a while before it is overtaken by the s2k when it gets to be a top end battle.

Bone stock SR's run what.. high 14's? S2k's can run 14 flat with the right driver. Their rear ends abhor drag racing though, which makes sense since the S2k isn't a drag car.

Actually, neither is the 240/Silvia but thats not the point of this thread. :P

Well I was off about the SR's times, they both run pretty similar times.. so I guess it's a drivers race.

ive seen some s2k's run pretty good up top. im not about to say anymore than that. still think nissan would win because I never think of nissan as loser
