Ok so I was explaining to my friend about injector impedance and he asked me What if you put low impedance injectors on a car that needs High impedance injectors, what would happen?

I really didn't know I assume it wouldn't start or run pretty bad.

So what would really happen so that I know?

You would burn up the injectors or the ECU by creating too much current draw. You need a resistor box.

+1

You can build your own resistor box, buy a pre-fabed one from somewhere, or get a stand alone ECU.

Can a reflash on a chipped ecu set it up for low impedance injectors?
